AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan Rouge
Deep color evoking shades of black cherry. The intense nose recalls blackberry, spices, and a hint of violet. Beautiful volume on the palate, with a delicate osmosis between fattiness, melting tannins, and controlled freshness. A pleasant sweetness adds a gourmet touch, with lovely aromas of licorice and persistent black fruits. The finish is long and fruity. A fine, complex wine with good aging potential.
Varieties : 80% Syrah, 20% Grenache

Ageing : 1 – 10 years
Winemaking : Traditional vinification, with a long vatting period, aiming to gently extract the wine’s substance. Syrah is cold-macerated to bring out its fruitiness and freshness. The temperature is kept below 27°C, and only the free-run juice is used to make this cuvée. The Grenache Noir and part of the Syrah are aged in concrete vats. The remaining Syrah is aged in demi-muids for a minimum of 12 months.
Serving temperature : 16 – 18°C
Serve with : This wine is the perfect accompaniment to fine, elaborate dishes based on grilled or stewed red meats, and soft cheeses.
